Bailiffs explained
Bailiffs acting on behalf of creditors such as banks and credit card companies have little power to enter your property or forcefully remove items as repayment of your outstanding debts.
Only Bailiffs acting on behalf of the courts, mortgage or HP (Hire Purchase) companies can forcefully enter properties and remove or confiscate goods to repay outstanding debts.
However, if you allow a bailiff acting on behalf of your bank or credit card company to enter your property they can remove any item they like to repay outstanding debts.
If you have the threat of bailiffs visiting your property you should get in touch. By arranging a structured debt solution we can help to prevent any further action by your lenders as our negotiations on your behalf show that you are willing to make some effort towards repaying your debt.
If bailiffs arrive at your property whilst we are negotiating with your creditors simply advise them that you are working with us and a structured repayment plan is being agreed.
